Ueki-ichi, flower market

This weekend, Ueki-ichi (flower market) was held in Asakusa. People came to buy some plants, trees or bonsai.

I bought tomato and blueberry plants. Eatable, of course.

Iki-Iki Ajisai Matsuri (Hydrangea Festival)

Today and Tomorrow, the event "Iki-Iki Ajisai Matsuri" (Hydrangea Festival) is held at Chokokuji. You can buy a hydrangea pot in a bamboo basket or enjoy seeing colorful hydrangeas.

ViTO is an ice cream shop opened recently near the Sumida Park. Gelato is so good.
There are some comfortable seats upstairs watching green of the park.

This cool shop is a green tea leaf shop in Kuramae, owned by a tea firm in Shizuoka. The tea leaves are grown carefully without use of pesticides. The bottle with green cap is an original bottle to make green tea with cold water in a fridge. Good for summer.

Though there are many companies which has a name of Fugetsudo such as Ginza Fugetsudo or Kobe Fugetsudo, this Ueno Fugetsudo is the only direct heir of the founder. At this sweets shop, you will find panda illustrated Dorayaki, limited products at Ueno shop, and Matcha Gaufres, limited products at this season only.
