Tsukudani is a sea product boiled with sugar and soy source. It is very common that Tsukudani is on the table of Japanese-style breakfast. The typical menu is like this; a grilled fish, Tsukemono (pickles), Tsukudani, Dashimaki-Tamago (rolled egg), rice and Miso soup.

Komatsuya sells various kinds of Tsukudani, which is located by the Yanagibashi bridge near Asakusabashi Station. In this area, there are many boathouses for Yakatabune.

Next to Oimoyasan on the Asakusa Orange Street, there is another Japanese sweets shop using sweet potatoes. Top-selling sweets is Imokin. If you ride Jinjikisha, you may taste a piece of Imokin in front of this shop.

Oimoyasan has five shops only in Asakusa. They sell sweets made of sweet potatoes such as Daigakuimo, tart and Yokan. Daigakuimo is gooood!
