This shop sells Hagoita, Geta, Sensu and so on. These Geta, which are Japanese sandals, are very reasonable and so cute wearing in summer. 










Also, You will find a big Kewpie doll with tattoo at this shop. In summer, lots of Sensu (fans) are sold at Takahisa. I got one today at 540 yen^^

Next to Shinobiya is this Sumo shop. There are many goods relating to Sumo. (Asakusa Ekimise 7F)

Though it is no a kind of traditional genuin shop, it is fun for sure. You can find Shuriken or other Ninja goods and can try to throw real Shuriken. (Asakusa Ekimise 7F)

Sakai Kokodo is the oldest store specialized in UKIYOE established in 1870. You can buy a replica of Katushika Hokusai or Utagawa Hiroshige.

shop#20 Bekko-Isogai

Bekko accessories are made from a shell of hawksbill turtles, which has a long history from 7th century in Japan. The international trade of hawksbill turtles is now prohibited in Washington Convention. Japan Association of Bekko and Tokyo Bekko Union are helping to sustain hawksbill turtles. They try to protect both turtles and Japanese tradition.

This shop, established in 1717 (middle of EDO era), sells combs made by boxwood. 



shop#17 Tsubaya

You can find thousands of knives here as well as some kitchen tools like the one to remove scales from a fish. Knives are different depends on what you would like to cut. You can see knives to cut soba noodles or to cut prosciutto.



shop#16 Kurodaya-Honten

This shop is located right next to Kaminarimon, selling postcards, calenders and stationary using Japanese papers.

Here, you can see real KATANA, swords. SHURIKEN is a weapon for NINJA^^ When I took these pictures, Russian speaking people were watching swords.
