Heisei Nakamura-za 2015

In Edo era, Kabuki was a very popular entertainment among the public. There used to be a Kabuki theater in Asakusa made by Nakamura Kanzaburo. In 2000, Nakamura Kanzaburo xviii built a temporary theater called Nakamura-za in Asakusa. Thereafter, Nakamura-za family played Kabuki at many places include New York. The xviii passed away in 2012, but this year, the theater is back to Asakusa with his successors. It is located just behind the Sensoji Temple.

Tickets are sold out but there is a few gallery ticket sold on the day, one hour before each performance.
